Aavira Films is a wedding photography and cinematography studio. We document Indian weddings — the ceremonies, the families, the long days that run from a 5am haldi to a reception that ends when the lights come up — and turn them into photographs and films that still feel right years later. Our approach starts with the couple, not the shot list. Before the wedding we want to understand the two of you, the families in the room, the moments that will matter most and the ones you would rather we stayed back for. That conversation shapes how we plan the days, where we place ourselves and how the film is eventually cut. On the day we work quietly. Weddings are not staged for us; we would rather catch something true than interrupt it to arrange something prettier. Afterwards, every set of photographs and every film is edited and graded by hand, with the story of your wedding leading the pace. We travel for weddings, and destination celebrations are a large part of what we do. Wherever it is, the intent is the same: give you back the feeling of the day, not just a record of it.
